Unlike traditional marketing approaches, the AI-driven analytics and communication platform processes large-scale data to identify the emotional attitudes and demand tendencies of potential customer groups. An Empirical Study on the Technological Innovation Paths of Advanced Manufacturing Industry Clusters in the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle Based on High-Value Patents

Abstract: Collaborative innovation within advanced manufacturing industry clusters in the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle is an important measure for Western China to move toward high-quality development, promote coordinated regional progress, and improve the national strategic layout. However, existing research on the technological evolution paths of advanced manufacturing clusters in this region remains relatively scarce. To address this gap, this study constructs a high-value patent citation network using citation data of patents from advanced manufacturing clusters in the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle over the past decade, applies the SPC algorithm to identify technological paths, and conducts an empirical analysis of the technological evolution characteristics in key fields. The results show that the technological innovation paths of advanced manufacturing industry clusters in the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle tend to evolve from resource scheduling toward intelligent optimization, forming a collaborative innovation pattern centered on resource allocation and task scheduling. Under the background of cross-domain collaboration, technological evolution exhibits multi-path integration and stage-wise bifurcation. Accordingly, the paper proposes policy recommendations such as building intelligent manufacturing collaboration chains, improving technological integration mechanisms, and strengthening industry–academia–research collaboration systems, so as to promote the high-quality development of advanced manufacturing industry clusters in the region. A Study on the International Competitiveness of the Bicycle Industry in China, the United States and Europe

Abstract: Driven by the differentiated recovery of the global economy, the regionalization of supply chains, and the trends of health and low carbon, the bicycle industry has upgraded towards “sports and leisure + green travel + intelligent technology”, with segmented areas such as electric bicycles becoming growth engines. This paper adopts the International Market Share (IMS), Trade Competitiveness Index (TC), and Revealed Comparative Advantage Index (RCA) to conduct a quantitative analysis of the international competitiveness of the bicycle industry in China, the United States, and the European Union. The results show that although China’s IMS, TC, and RCA have declined in recent years, it still takes the lead globally and maintains strong international competitiveness; the United States’ indicators show small fluctuations and a steady upward trend, while the European Union’s indicators have larger fluctuations but achieved significant growth, and both have taken over part of China's market share. Study on the Water Conservation Effects of the Water Resources Tax Pilot Program in the Yellow River Basin--Taking Shanxi Province as an Example

Abstract: China's water resources exhibit uneven regional distribution and persistently low per capita availability, with the Yellow River basin facing particularly acute water supply-demand imbalances. As ecological civilization construction has been elevated to a national strategy, water resource tax reform has emerged as a pivotal measure to advance ecological conservation and high-quality development in the Yellow River basin. As one of the first pilot regions, Shanxi Province has provided crucial practical insights for nationwide reform since implementing the water resource fee-to-tax conversion in December 2017. Therefore, this study focuses on the industrial sector in Shanxi Province to uncover the patterns of how water resource tax reform influences industrial water conservation outcomes. Current research on water resource taxes predominantly concentrates on institutional design, lacking systematic analysis of actual water-saving achievements. This paper innovatively introduces the DPSR model (Drivers-Pressures-State-Responses) into water resource tax research. It constructs a multi-dimensional evaluation system comprising 14 indicators and employs the entropy method and TOPSIS model to comprehensively assess data from industrial enterprises above designated size in Shanxi Province from 2015 to 2022. This aims to validate the industrial water conservation effects of the water resource tax reform. The findings reveal that the water resource fee phase (2015–2017) suffered from multiple issues, including excessively low levy standards. Following the water resource tax reform, significant outcomes emerged, with the policy effects exhibiting a “three-year lag and five-year manifestation” pattern. Although regional implementation disparities and inadequate supporting measures persist, the study demonstrates that the tax lever effectively compels enterprises to upgrade their technologies. Artificial Intelligence in Securities Risk Management: Applications, Vulnerabilities, and Governance Frameworks

Abstract: The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has brought substantial convenience to the conduct of various business activities in securities firms, particularly in the field of risk management, where multiple large-scale models can be employed to address complex real-world problems. The application of AI techniques such as ensemble learning, deep learning and unsupervised learning in the risk management practices of securities firms makes it possible to process and analyze data rapidly, improve the efficiency and quality of decision making, and reduce labor costs, thereby enhancing the overall level of financial risk management. However, the adoption of these new technologies entails not only advantages but also notable drawbacks. The “black box” nature of many AI models weakens their interpretability, and the associated ethical issues, including data leakage and privacy protection, remain to be effectively resolved. These problems can in turn increase the difficulty and cost of regulation and may even trigger systemic risk. Consequently, AI technologies need to be properly aligned with and adapted to the financial system. Cultural Branding and Feminist Identity in Chanel

Abstract: This article examines how feminism is strategically mobilised as a branding resource in the luxury market, using Chanel as a case study. Grounded in post-feminist theory and consumer culture research, the study analyses how feminist discourse is translated into brand aesthetics, self-gift consumption narratives, and symbolic capital. Through a qualitative cultural analysis of visual codes, brand ambassadors, consumer-generated content, and corporate responsibility communication, the article identifies three mechanisms: the construction of wearable feminist style, the alignment of empowerment with self-reward and authenticity myths, and the management of ethical legitimacy amid luxury exclusivity. The findings demonstrate that while feminist branding enhances perceived authenticity and achievement status, it simultaneously reinforces class-based segmentation. The article contributes to branding and consumer culture literature by revealing the tensions between empowerment discourse and exclusionary luxury strategies. Read More

Research on High-Level Opening-Up of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Its Driving Factors

Abstract: Based on panel data from 2017 to 2023, this study constructs an evaluation index system encompassing five dimensions—trade, capital, personnel, information, and institutions—to measure the openness level of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). The grey relational analysis model is employed to identify the driving factors behind its openness. The findings reveal that the GBA exhibits an overall pattern characterized by “core-led development, tiered differentiation, and dynamic recovery”: Hong Kong and Shenzhen serve as dual-core open hubs, experiencing a trajectory of “high-level adjustment followed by strong rebound” and steady growth, respectively. In 2023, their openness indices reached 0.5554 and 0.5227. The nine cities in the Pearl River Delta form three tiers, with Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Dongguan constituting the second tier, while the remaining cities exhibit relatively lower levels of openness. Macao, whose economy is dominated by the gaming and tourism sectors, shows significant fluctuations in its openness index. Analysis of driving factors indicates that industrial structure upgrading serves as the “main engine” for enhancing openness, with services sector liberalization directly facilitating regulatory alignment and cross-border flow of factors. Government regulation plays a “regulatory role” through infrastructure investment and institutional innovation; economic fundamentals provide solid support for openness; the marginal benefits of investment-driven growth are gradually diminishing; and human capital reflects long-term potential, which requires strengthening industry-education integration to unlock its momentum. Abstract: There is an increasing use of facial recognition technologies (FRT) in daily life. The privacy invasion created by this technology and the public's growing discomfort with being monitored at all times are having an impact. They are affecting people's ability to feel secure when entering and leaving public places. While this article will not provide a comprehensive list of all laws developed because of FRT, it will explore how society is moving toward new ways of organizing its societal norms and public values. Using the framework of “first principles” reveals how legal systems are developing laws around new and existing technologies; in this specific instance, the article provides examples of the continual existence of the presumption of innocence and the right to be treated equally under the law. Once these principles are analyzed, the article examines how the techniques used to regulate these technologies, such as minimum necessity, edge storage, and quantified filing, are built using institutions and their interrelationships. Using the European Union's and United States' approaches, the article provides a basis for understanding how China is developing an entirely new regulatory framework—exemplified by the Administrative Measures on the Security of Application of Facial Recognition Technology ("2025 Measures")—that provides an appropriate dynamic balance between the collection of personal information for security and the protection of individuals' rights through physical separation and procedural measures. The Influence of Brand Type on Product Choices: The Mediating Role of Need for Uniqueness

Abstract: This study investigates how brand type (luxury vs. non-luxury) influences consumer product choices between attractive and ugly designs. We propose that for non-luxury brands, consumers exhibit a stronger preference for attractive products, while for luxury brands, choices between attractive and ugly products show no significant difference. Need for uniqueness serves as a mediator in this relationship. Drawing on Customers' need for uniqueness theory and aesthetics literature, we develop a theoretical framework and hypotheses. Abstract: The deepening evolution of the digital economy and the iterative upgrading of financial technology are driving the digital transformation of enterprise financial engineering, evolving from an optional development direction into an inevitable path for cultivating core competitiveness. Research on the Innovation System for Domestic Substitution of Key Core Technologies in Intelligent Manufacturing

Abstract: The domestic substitution of key core technologies has gradually become an important way for China to prevent industrial chain and supply chain risks, and enhance control and dominance in key technological fields. This paper studies the innovation system of domestic substitution for key core technologies in China’s intelligent manufacturing. First, at the ‘direction identification’ level, a technology identification model encompassing strategic, application, and physical aspects, along with multi-dimensional evaluation, is constructed. Combined with a dynamic, multi-party participatory technology foresight consensus-building mechanism, this provides methodological support for scientifically determining substitution priorities. Second, at the ‘capability cultivation’ level, focusing on enterprise innovation as the main body, it proposes breakthroughs in the core elements of intelligent manufacturing and systematically enhances enterprises’ core capabilities in connectivity, analysis, and intelligence through two-way resource integration and the construction of an industrial innovation ecosystem. Finally, at the ‘system building’ level, it emphasizes the necessity of constructing a domestic substitution innovation system guided by the government, led by enterprises, and collaborative between industry, academia, and research. Analysis of Spatiotemporal Evolution Characteristics of Cultivated Land in the Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt

Abstract: Analyzing spatiotemporal changes in cultivated land in the downstream region of the Yangtze River Economic Belt helps safeguard regional arable land resources. It provides guidance and reference for local governments in formulating relevant land policies. Using ArcGIS 10.8 software, combined with the land use transition matrix and gravity center shift model, can reveal the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of cultivated land and its change patterns within the study area. The research findings indicate that cultivated land underwent conversion across all periods. Specifically, the areas of cultivated land converted out during 2000–2005, 2005–2010, 2010–2015, 2015–2020, and 2020–2023 were 10,868 km², 10,549 km², 10,000 km², 6,588 km², and 41,129 km², respectively. Notably, only during 2020–2023 was there a net gain in cultivated land area, with an inflow of 42,126 km² from land conversion. Between 2000 and 2023, the centroid of cultivated land also underwent a certain degree of migration. In the first phase from 2000 to 2010, the centroid of cultivated land area shifted northwestward by 6.68 km; in the second phase from 2010 to 2023, it gradually migrated southward. Read More

As a form of family formation, cohabitation without marriage, especially the property relations therein, should be subject to legal regulation. However, due to the particularity of cohabitation without marriage, the handling of its property relations cannot directly copy the rules applicable to marital relations. For parties with an agreement on property, their agreement shall be followed. In the absence of such an agreement, the ownership of respective properties shall be determined based on the separate property system, and the joint property shall be divided with the joint tenancy system as a supplement. Particularly in East China, under the guidance of green entrepreneurship, new ventures can enhance their operational efficiency by analyzing the driving factors of green entrepreneurship orientation, investigating the influencing factors of new ventures within the existing green entrepreneurship orientation, and analyzing the development of green entrepreneurship orientation in existing new ventures. Moreover, this study aims to analyze the mediating role of green and entrepreneurial orientation between its driving factors and corporate goals. This study will adopt the deductive research method to explore and evaluate the relationship among the driving factors of green entrepreneurship, green entrepreneurial orientation, and enterprise performance. The research will be grounded in the absorptive capacity theory, the Triple - Bottom - Line (TBL) theory, the stakeholder theory, and the natural resource - based theory. By leveraging the absorptive capacity to construct a theoretical framework, this paper explores the driving factors of green entrepreneurial orientation and the relationship between green entrepreneurial orientation and enterprise performance. Research on the Application and Information Disclosure of Third Level Input Values in Fair Value Measurement

Abstract: Fair value measurement is a core measurement attribute of modern financial accounting. In its hierarchical division, the third level input value has become a key and difficult point in practical application and information disclosure due to its dependence on unobservable data and valuation techniques. This article is based on the relevant regulations of IFRS 13 and CAS 39 in China, using literature research and normative research methods to analyze the operational difficulties and disclosure status. Research has found that Chinese enterprises have problems with inconsistent valuation techniques, subjective parameter settings, and insufficient data verifiability in the application of this input value. Disclosure also has deficiencies such as insufficient content, vague expression, poor comparability, and lack of sensitivity analysis. The main causes are the strong principle guidance of the standards, insufficient valuation ability of enterprises, imperfect external environment, and lack of regulatory strength. This article proposes to refine practical guidelines, enhance the level of enterprise valuation, build a unified valuation database, strengthen regulatory accountability, and improve its application and disclosure quality. The research conclusion can provide reference for enterprises to standardize operations and regulatory agencies to optimize policies, helping to improve the relevance and reliability of financial reporting information. The Impact of AIGC's Emotional Expression on Consumer Service Evaluation in Service Failure Contexts: The Mediating Role of Expectation Disconfirmation

Abstract: With the widespread application of generative artificial intelligence (AIGC) in the service sector, its performance in service failure scenarios has become a key focus for both academia and practice. Based on Expectation Disconfirmation Theory, this study employs a scenario-based experiment to investigate the impact of AIGC’s level of emotional expression (high vs. low) on consumer service evaluations in service failure contexts, as well as the underlying mechanism. The results show that compared to AIGC with low emotional expression, AIGC with high emotional expression triggers more negative service evaluations from consumers when a service failure occurs. Further mechanism analysis reveals that expectation disconfirmation plays a key mediating role: high emotional expression elevates consumers’ initial expectations, and when a service failure occurs, the significant expectation gap (i.e., negative disconfirmation) is the fundamental reason for the decline in service evaluations. This study reveals the "double-edged sword" effect of AIGC’s anthropomorphic strategy in service failure contexts, deepens the understanding of the boundary conditions of emotional expression in human-computer interaction, and provides important theoretical and practical insights for enterprises to optimize AIGC service design and implement effective expectation management and service recovery. Study on Spatiotemporal Changes of Cultivated Land in the Major Grain-Producing Areas of the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River

Abstract: Cultivated land is the primary form of rural land use and a critical resource for human survival. Investigating the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of cultivated land resources holds profound significance for strengthening cultivated land protection and optimizing spatial distribution patterns. This study used land-use data from four periods (1990, 2000, 2010, and 2023) in the Major Grain Producing Areas of the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River. Using a land-use transition matrix and a dynamic degree model of land use, we analyzed the spatiotemporal evolution of cultivated land resources in this region. The results indicate: (1) Cultivated land resources exhibited uneven spatial distribution, with higher concentrations in the northeastern regions and lower densities in the southwestern areas. Between 1990 and 2023, except for Jiangxi Province, which experienced an increase of 454.32 km² in cultivated land area, all other provinces demonstrated decreasing trends. Specifically, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, and Hunan provinces recorded reductions of 12,895.67 km², 8,207.89 km², 2,797.64 km², and 958.44 km², respectively. (2) Regarding the dynamics of cultivated land changes: From 1990 to 2000, while Hubei Province showed expansion tendencies, other provinces experienced contraction; between 2000 and 2010, Hunan Province underwent significant expansion while Jiangsu Province faced substantial reduction, with other provinces maintaining contraction trends; during 2010–2023, apart from dramatic expansion in Jiangxi Province, other provinces exhibited minor reduction tendencies. (3) Throughout the study period, significant conversions occurred between cultivated land and other land-use types. Cultivated land was primarily converted to forests and impervious surfaces, while newly added cultivated land mainly originated from forest conversion.
